Can omniscient God, who
Knows the future, find
The omnipotence to
Change His future mind?
~ Karen Owens
I'm currently reading Richard Dawkins' The God Delusion from which the above rhyme is cited. Despite not being too far along in the book, it's evident just how brutal he is on the subject. But the wonderful thing, for me, about the book is how he can back his claims with reason instead of just baseless attacks like many people seem to portray. And I love how he's so unapologetic over everything, there is no political correctness, no bullshitting or beating around the bush: he's not going to be impartial, that's not the kind of argument that you're going to find in this book. I'm not going to say if he's right or wrong, my opinion will remain within the privacy of the mind but I will say this, it's a really interesting book! I can't put it away for a second! So far...
And you know, just what is so wrong about considering an idea far from the convention? Just think about it, think about both sides of the argument before making a decision for which you could so willingly detonate a bomb.

Actually, now that I really think about it, it's probably not too wise a thing to start a new book right in the dawn of our exams. Thing is, Dawkins' writing is waaay more fascinating than any of the textbooks I have to read for class. Consumer behaviour.. bleeech!
